Paris Descartes University
Paris Descartes University, located in the heart of the Latin Quarter, is the second largest university in Paris in terms of student numbers. An academic staff of two thousand people teach 39,000 students in 9 departments and its IUT institute of technology.
A university of human and health sciences, Paris Descartes University is the only university in Paris to cover the health care sector completely – medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and midwifery – in addition to psychology, social sciences, education, law, economics and management, mathematics, computer science, biology, physics and chemistry, within the framework of the European bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programme.
